Environmentally Responsible Manufacturing
We take pride in recycling thousands of tons of post-consumer material into new useful products that build modern infrastructure that can last for decades. We leverage our global capabilities to manage the lifecycle of our products, which gives us a unique advantage of being able to address environmental concerns. Our products have an enduring service life, and typically require little to no maintenance.
Cast Iron Products Contain Over 85% Recycled Content
Thousands of tons of scrap metals are recycled annually and turned into usable products that build your infrastructure. Our cast iron products contain over 85% recycled content and are also 100% recyclable.
Environmental Messaging
Environmental messaging helps protect our waterways and products often include "Dump No Waste! Drains to Waterways" accompanied by a fish image. These permanently cast messages serve as an enduring reminder against dumping into our waterways.

Our state-of-the-art foundries use environmental controls and technology to meet some of the most stringent environmental regulations in the world.
Reclaimed Molding Sand
In our foundry processes, over 90% of our green sand is reclaimed daily and reused in our molding process.
Optimized Designs
Historically, access solutions were overbuilt using rudimentary methods. Through engineering, technology, and manufacturing advancements, we design and produce superior performing products with reduced weights, thus saving energy and raw materials while ensuring our customers best in class products.
Recycled Tires
Recycled tires make up the majority of our INFRA-RISER® adjustment risers. Consisting of 92% recycled content, this environmentally friendly product also reduces unwanted stormwater infiltration into sanitary sewer systems.
